Fan bearings bushing bare typically made of metal materials such as copper alloys, aluminum alloys, or steel. The surface of the bearings is usually treated to enhance surface hardness and wear resistance. There are different types and structures of fan shaft bearings to accommodate various types of fans and working conditions.

 

The main functions of fan shaft bearings are as follows:

  1、Shaft support: The bearings support the rotation of the shaft by fitting with the shaft, ensuring stability and balance.

   2、Friction reduction: Lubricants such as lubricating oil or grease are used on the contact surface between the fan shaft bearings and the shaft to reduce friction, thus minimizing energy loss.

   3、Load distribution: Fan shaft bearings bear the loads from fan blades and other components, distributing and transmitting them to the bearings, protecting the bearings from excessive force and pressure.

   4、Wear resistance: Due to the contact between the shaft and the bearings, fan shaft bearings need to have high wear resistance to extend their service life.

 

     Because fan shaft bearings play crucial roles and bear significant loads, regular maintenance and inspection are necessary during operation to ensure their proper functioning. In case of damage or wear, timely replacement or repair of fan shaft bearings is required to prevent further failures and damage.

       When plain bearings work, a thin oil film is required between the motor bearing and the rotating shaft to lubricate. If the lubrication is poor, there is direct friction between the bearing and the shaft, and the friction will produce a high temperature, although the bearing is made of a special high-temperature resistant alloy material, but the high temperature generated by direct friction is still enough to burn it out. Motor bearings can also be burned due to factors such as excessive load, excessive temperature, impurities or abnormal viscosity of the lubricating oil. The plain bearing was damaged after the shingle was burned.

    Fans babbitt bearings  material is usually soft, and the inner cylindrical surface is not suitable for processing by grinding method, and can be processed by boring, diamond boring, scraping or grinding. When grinding, the method of matching the shaft diameter should not be used, but a special rod with the same size as the bearing bore size should be used.

       Scraping is mostly used for partial tile bearings, with a wide-edged scraper machine. When scraping by hand, the scratch should be shallow. Bearings with complex inner surface shapes should adopt special boring methods according to the specific shape.
